<br />~ <br /> <br />~"T~ <br /> <br />6" <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />MATTERS OF COMMISSION INTEREST <br /> <br />-Commissioner Swope asked when the Commission would be able to meet the new <br />City Manager and Director Griffiths explained he is currently in the process <br />of meeting all the staff and would probably come to a Commission meeting at a <br />later date. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Hordness passed out copies of an article from the January 1992 <br />issue of Sunset magazine which explained about a park which was built in <br />Davis, California by a group of its citizens. <br /> <br />-Director Griffiths said that the Kiwanis/4ger Field project is currently <br />behind approximately 30 days due to weather and insurance problems with the <br />contractor. <br /> <br />-Chairperson Slusser mentioned his is currently researching community <br />assisted playground developments and will report back to the Commission with <br />his findings. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Mortensen requested that ADA be added to the February agenda. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Howard asked that the Commission begin looking at its short and <br />long term goals and perhaps include them in the study session with the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />M/S Hordness/Slusser: <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned at <br />8:45pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, February 26, 1992 at the <br />Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California. <br /> <br />To adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />
