<br />j <br /> <br />-Commissioner Nordness inquired about Supervisor Hannon1s report and the <br />reservation policies of the CAB building. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Swope said that Senior Affairs Commission Chairperson Jack <br />Anthony mentioned the thorough presentation made by the Park and Recreation <br />Commission at the Study Session on February 1. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Truscelli noted the Intergenerational Program received an Arts <br />Star Award from the San Mateo County Arts Council. She mentioned a brunch <br />will be held on March 27 at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center to raise <br />funds for the Intergenerational Program. <br /> <br />Matters of Commission Interest <br /> <br />-Commissioner Truscelli announced the Native Daughters received a <br />proclamation from the City Council on its Arbor Day activities which were <br />held March 7 at the Community Activities Building. <br /> <br />-The Commissioners discussed the passing of Gerry Letzring and his <br />contribution to the Redwood City Little League program and his work to <br />promote the restoration of Mitchell Field. Chairperson Davis asked that <br />the Commissioners think of what might be an appropriate recognition memorial <br />in honor of Mr. Letzring which could be discussed at our April meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Davis requested this meeting of the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission be adjourned in the memory of Gerry Letzring. The regular meeting <br />of the Parks and Recreation Commission was adjourned at 7:05pm to be <br />reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 28, 1~93 at the Community Activities <br />Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />
