I 4 ì , Analyst Aguilar stated that the U.S. Department of the Interior, Archeology and Historic Preservation; Secretary of the Interior1s Standards and Guidelines would be used to assure that all proposed work was in legal compliance. In addition, staff would rely on documentation guidelines proposed in A GravelarQ Preserv~~ion Primer by Lynette Strangstad to record and document all work done at the Cooley Plot. Commissioner Slusser recommended that staff audit the procedures, technical and administrative, to assure accountability for work done. Commissioner Hardness wanted to be sure that any steps done should be chronicled for future reference. Prior to any work commencing, a key issue to be resolved would be storage of the Cooley Plot wooden fence pieces while being restored.
