<br />City this year and he will be speaking with the Cultural Commission at their <br />May 5 meeting to seek their help in coordinating the cultural group. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />-Commissioner N ordness mentioned Supervisor Blondino' s Feb ruary <br />monthly report regarding his discussion with Superintendent Crates and the <br />school fields being unacceptable for program use due to liability issues. He <br />also noted that Erlinda Tulioc has five participants in training for the Special <br />Olympics track and field events. He handed out information regarding the <br />following therapeutic programs: "Wheels on Fire", a San Jose program; <br />South Bay Wheelchair Athletic Program; and Wheelchair Sports USA <br />Newsletter. <br /> <br />-Commissioners Morton and Davis deferred their reports until the May <br />meeting. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />-Commissioner N ordness received a letter and brochure from Rich Hulme <br />from the Pacific Shores Center regarding this new project and asked that if be <br />listed on our May agenda. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 8:50pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on May 25, 1994 at the Community <br />Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />
