<br />" <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 28, 1994 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Swope, Commissioners <br />Howard, Morton and Truscelli <br /> <br />COMMISSIO NERS ABSENT: <br /> <br />Commissioners Davis, Nordness and Slusser <br /> <br />GUESTS PRESENT: Vince Truscelli, Nick Brock <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENT: Director Griffiths and Secretary Monroe <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was called to <br />order by Chairperson Swope at 7:30pm in Room 5 of the Community <br />Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the August 18 Public Hearing and of the August 24 regular <br />meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />There was no correspondence. <br /> <br />ITEM 1- BELMONT SCHOOL DISTRICT UPDATE <br /> <br />Director Griffiths reported the negotiations committee recently met and need <br />one more meeting to finalize the agreement. The agreement will need to be <br />approved by the City Attorney and will be reviewed the City Council in an <br />Executive Session in the near future prior to bringing the agreement back to <br />the City Council for formal approval. <br /> <br />Director Griffiths said he spoke to Don Warren regarding Redwood Shores <br />Inc. searching for a possible site for the maintenance center and they are still <br />looking. He also attended a September 19 meeting of the Regatta <br />Homeowners Association regarding the project. As a result of that meeting, <br />he has sent a letter to Philip Singer requesting that the parking on Egret Lane <br />be moved and included in the parking lot on Redwood Shores Parkway and <br />to remove the maintenance center from the site. <br /> <br />
