<br />. <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />I,¡ <br /> <br />Wednesday in November is the day before Thanksgiving, the Commissioners <br />decided to move the meeting to Wednesday, November 30. The meeting <br />would be held in Room 1 of the Community Activities Building at 7:30pm. <br />An alternate meeting date would be Wednesday, November 16 at the <br />Veterans Memorial Senior Center. <br /> <br />Suggested topics for the agenda include: <br />-Fund Raising for the Red Morton Center <br />-Carrington Hall <br />-Outdoor band shell <br />-Assistance with Concert in the Park Series <br /> <br />There will be a public hearing on Wednesday, October 12 held by the Cultural <br />Commission at Carrington Hall and many of the Commissioners said they <br />would be attending that meeting. <br /> <br />COMMIITEE REPORTS <br /> <br />-The Dogs in the Parks Committee has not met to discuss meeting with <br />neighbors of the proposed dog exercise area on the Hetch Hetchy <br />right-of-way. Commissioners Howard will speak to Commissioner Davis to <br />discuss this matter further. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Truscelli said she was advised that Casa de Redwood now has <br />a lapidary room at their facility which is available for use. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />-Director Griffiths stated that due to department staffs busy workload} <br />monthly reports will now be done quarterly by the supervisors. Fair Oaks and <br />Veterans Memorial Senior Center supervisors will still continue to provide <br />monthly reports with monthly statistics. <br /> <br />ANN 0 UN CEMENT S <br /> <br />-Commissioner T ruscelli announced she attended the In terservice <br />Coordinating Council's "Unsung Hero" awards ceremony held on Sunday, <br />September 25. She said it was well attended and honored people from <br />various service organizations in Redwood City. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:00pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, October 26, 1994 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt A venue I <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />
