<br />CO MMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Nordness reported that Redwood City International held a <br />successful brainstorming session on February 11 with George Barbour as <br />facilitator. Criteria was established to consider an additional Sister City in <br />Mexico. <br /> <br />MONTHL Y REPORTS! ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />-Commissioner Truscelli said she was delighted to hear that the Lapidary <br />Shop was relocated to Little House in Menlo Park and has heard that the <br />participants are also happy with their new home. She also mentioned that <br />she is pleased with new Recreation Supervisor Linda Griffith and Assistant <br />Recreation Center Supervisor Tova Sweet and felt they are easy to work with. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Nordness commended Supervisor Gibbons and Coordinator <br />Tulioc on their numerous activities mentioned in their quarterly reports. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Davis thanked Coordinator Tulioc for her support of the <br />brochure for the fund raising project. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Hughes announced "Irish Night" to be held Wednesday, <br />March 15 at Pete's Harbor House at 6:00pm. The event is sponsored by <br />Peninsula Sunrise Rotary and proceeds will benefit Kainos WAC and other <br />chari ties. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:15pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, March I, 1995 at the <br />Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California. <br /> <br />. <br />
