<br />.. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Kristen Anderson presented an award of excellence plaque she accepted on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City from the San Mateo County Board of <br />Supervisors for childcare coordinating services. Since 1995 has been declared <br />the "Year of the Child" by the Supervisors, they wished to honor Redwood <br />City as a role model for other cities to follow because of the excellent child care <br />services it provides. She also passed out a new brochure developed by the <br />Child Care Advisory Council and the Commissioners congra tula ted her on it. <br /> <br />Chairperson Swope reminded the Commissioners of the two Memorial Day <br />ceremonies to be held at Union Cemetery on May 29. The American Legion <br />ceremony will be held at 8:15am and the HUCA ceremony will be held at <br />10:00am. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:30pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 28, 1995 to be held <br />at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood <br />City, California. <br /> <br />
