Music was provided by Blue Moon Orchestra and he encouraged all <br />Commissioners to attend the summer concert series sponsored by the <br />Cultural Commission. He also attended the performance of "Company" at <br />the Fox Theater and recommended it to the Commissioners. <br />-Chairperson Swope attended "Families Arts Day" at Red Morton Park on <br />July 22 which was sponsored by the Cultural Commission, the San Mateo <br />County Arts Council and Target Stores. This hands-on art event for children <br />was well attended and the entertainment was very good. <br />-Commissioner Nordness handed out two newspaper articles regarding dogs <br />in the parks issues in San Francisco and Belmont. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:15pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 23, 1995 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />.
