The <br />event will be sponsored by the Native Daughters of the Golden West and Geri <br />Mayers will be honored. <br /> <br />Commissioner Nordness distributed plans for the new Pacific Shores Center <br />which includes a park area with two softball fields. He said he mentioned to <br />the architects that they should consider soccer fields in their design. <br />Commissioner N ordness announced Cargill Salt has agreed to send a <br />donation to the Red Morton Center and noted he is still trying to contact the <br />representative from Oracle for possible funding. He distributed copies of a <br />newspaper article regarding Mid-Peninsula Open Space and their parks which <br />allow dogs. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:02pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, February 28, 1996 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />-;,-,' ' " <br />
