He is a member of the liTis <br />the Season" sub-committee which consists of members of various <br />organizations, clubs, and schools who have worked together to coordinate all <br />holiday events in the community. On December 8, there will be a holiday <br />parade with Santa followed by a tree lighting ceremony and a "Preview <br />Shawl! presented by the groups giving performances later in the week. All <br />the Commissioners were invited to attend. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Davis invited all to attend the indoor soccer tournament to <br />be held at the Red Morton Center on November 29, 30 and December 1. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Morton announced the Art David Memorial Classic, an 8th <br />grade boys and girls basketball tournament to be held December 21-22 at the <br />Red Morton and asked if any of the Commissioners would like to help at the <br />event. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Hughes announced the 75 year anniversary celebration of <br />College of San Mateo on Sunday, November 24. She is also selling <br />anniversary calendars to benefit the celebration. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Davis asked that an update of the Redwood Shores <br />Community Center/School Project be on the January agenda. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:25pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, January 22, 1997 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />i <br />f <br />t <br />i. <br /> <br />:., <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />,.. <br /> <br />
