Jones & Sons, <br />Berkeley - $91,818.10) <br />adopted on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Councilmen Biagi, Bury, Mosher, Rhodes <br />and Mayor Stangel <br /> <br />Noes: <br /> <br />Councilman Britschgi <br /> <br />Councilman Britschgi stated for the record <br />that he voted against adoption of the subject <br />resolution because no drawing was provided of <br />the location of the project. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />, ..~-"-<-- _._~ <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Mayor Stangel stated that Item No. 16 <br />relating to interior furnishings for the <br />Senior Center and Veterans Memorial Buildings <br />was inadvertently placed on the Consent <br />Calendar and will be considered separately <br />out of order at this time. <br /> <br />In response to questions, City Manager Smith <br />reviewed the figures provided with regard to <br />the need for additional project funds; the <br />funds remaining in the project account; and <br />the additional work discovered to be needed <br />during reconstruction with regard to termite <br />and radiator damage in the Veterans <br />Building. <br /> <br />William Addiego, 111 Wellesley Crescent, <br />advised that the Veterans Memorial Building <br />name will be retained and two signs will be <br />provided. Mr. Addiego urged adoption of the <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Cliff Miller, 1095 Eden Bower Lane, Senior <br />Citizens Advisory Committee, responded to <br />question regarding solicitation of <br />contributions for the Senior Center, <br />reporting that donations have been received <br />from clubs and businesses and the funding <br />group is pursuing such contributions as well <br />as encouraging volunteer workers. <br /> <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />9/13/82 <br />Page 4 <br />
