MOTION: to accept subdivision improvements for <br />Woodhills Subdivision, subject to certain conditions <br /> <br />City Manager Smith advised that an addition should be made to the motion as <br />stated on the Agenda. <br /> <br />M/S: Biagi/Britschgi to accept subdivision improvements for Woodhills <br />Subdivision, subject to certain conditions; and that acceptance is subject to <br />full payment of outstanding inspection fees and costs, per subdivision <br />agreement, to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Woks. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-171 <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Britschgi, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, urged that <br />representatives of the Council appear in support of the proposed golf course <br />for Edgewood Park at the hearings being conducted by the Board of <br />Supervisors on Wednesday, November 3, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Stangel <br />reported having written to the Board stating his support. <br /> <br />Councilman Bury commended the Library staff for receiving the compliments of <br />TriboTech in connection with reference service given to that company <br />recently. (Memo 10/26/82) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. Mayor Stangel thanked staff for the report on efforts to solve the problems <br />encountered in the Easter Cross parking area. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Don Warren, 350 Marine World Parkway, representing Redwood Shores, Inc. and <br />South Shores, Inc., referred to the Draft South Shores Fiscal Impact <br />Analysis prepared by Williams-Kuebelbeck and Associates, Inc. and sent to <br />Council for information. Mr. Warren stated that Elliot Stein, who prepared <br />the analysis will present information and reply to questions. <br /> <br />Elliot Stein, Economic Consultant, Williams-Kuebelbeck and Associates, Inc., <br />611 Veterans Boulevard, stated that his firm specializes in land use <br />economics and serves both private clients and public agencies. Mr. Stein <br />presented his Analysis and commented and replied to questions concerning <br />details of the Analysis and comparisons with the certified environmental <br />impact report (ErR). He said that the Analysis is additional, more refined, <br />information and was prepared using very conservative financial projections, <br />taking into consideration certain recommendattions and noting that the ErR <br />was for a 10-year period while the Analysis uses a 23-year period. <br /> <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />10/25/82 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />~", ' <br /> <br />".
