ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (continued)

Nita Spangler, 970 Edgewood Drive, requested illumination regarding the
source of the Analysis, noting it has been issued just before the
November 2, 1982 election when a measure relating to the South Shores area
is on the ballot.

Discussion followed and Mrs. Spangler and Mr. Warren replied to questions
and commented concerning the additional information being provided in the
Analysis; the fact that the Analysis was commissioned in July and antici-
pated in September; the desirability of having the Council and public have
the most recent financial information on the South Shores development; and
the need for the information by South Shores, Inc. for their development.

Al Davies, suggested the Analysis provides the electorate with an idea of
the financial importance to the City of the South Shores development.

John Murray, 568 Seahorse Lane, said that he appreciates having a
professional economic consultant1s analysis providing detailed financial
information about South Shores at a time when it is helpful to citizens in
evaluating the ballot measure on South Shores and objects to innuendo
suggesting the Analysis should not have been made available now.

ADJOURNMENT

M/S: Biagi/Bury to adjourn.
Carried unanimously by voice vote and Council adjourned at 10:55 p.m.

Mayor Stangel reminded Council members of the regularly scheduled executive
sessions for labor relations consideration, the next meeting to be 5:00
p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 1982 in the Office of the City Manager.

JACQUELINE C.
