They would like to see Kiwanis Field enlarged and
upgraded, Mitchell Field returned to a grass diamond and the soccer
groups needs incorporated into these configurations. They emphasized
the need to properly regrade the area.

Commissioner Nordness asked the men how they felt about the
maintenance of the fields they played and practiced on. They
responded the conditions were very poor except for Kiwanis Field
noting the rest of the fields they used were school district
maintained. Part of the problem they felt was due to other groups
constantly using these locations even though prohibited.

The meeting adjorned at 9:00 p.m. to be reconvened Wednesday,
February 10, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Activities Building,
1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California.

LF/eca.PRC.l.13

'. ,
"-,, ,',<:'~ - ,.' ~.-
