DES:djk 06/22/92 (002/52) <br /> A G R E E M E N T <br /> FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> (EMERALD LAKE HILLS WATER SERVICE AREA IMPROVEMENTS) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> , 1992 , by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, ( "City" ) , and <br /> BRIAN-KANGAS-FOULK & ASSOCIATES , Consulting Engineers, of Redwood <br /> City, California ( "Consultant") ; <br /> W I T N E S S E T H : <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to modify certain water storage and <br /> pumping facilities serving portions of City' s Emerald Lake Hills <br /> water service area, a portion of which is located in the <br /> unincorporated territory of San Mateo County (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, City requires the expert consulting engineering <br /> services hereinafter described in connection with the Project; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the <br /> experience, and is qualified, to perform said expert consulting <br /> engineering services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br /> agreements, and conditions contained herein, the parties agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1 . CONSULTANT' S SERVICES . Consultant shall perform all <br /> those certain professional consulting engineering services <br /> pertaining to the Project described in Consultant' s "Scope of <br /> Work" , Item 1 (including Tasks 1-3) described in Exhibit "A" <br />
