* Notification signs that the parking lot will be closed from 6:00 PM <br /> on July 2, 1992 until 7:00 AM on July 8, 1992. <br /> * The City will waive the parking lot fees pursuant to Minute Order <br /> • No. 90-165, issued on November 5, 1990. <br /> 11. Restroom Facilities: Adequate temporary restroom facilities (minimum of • <br /> 8) shall be provided by permittee and serviced during the event at no <br /> expense to the City. <br /> 12. Miscellaneous and Additional Matters. It is further agreed that the <br /> following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the <br /> responsibility of the Permittee, coordinated with and approved by the <br /> Chief of Police regarding: <br /> * A temporary fence (6' along the railroad side) shall be placed • <br /> around the Carnival area with entrances at established cross- <br /> walks to direct pedestrian traffic and contain litter; <br /> * Periodic trash cleanup during the event and continued availability <br /> of trash containers and bins through the area; <br /> * An agreement by Kiwanis to cover the first $2,000 of any damage <br /> or loss before submitting to the insurance company; <br /> * Provide private security to the Carnival (unarmed, insured and <br /> licensed); <br /> * On site presence of at least 2 Kiwanis members during operating <br /> hours available as a City contact; <br /> * Establishment of a First Aid Station and event headquarters; <br /> * Notification of Downtown Merchants and Gypsy Cellar Restaurant <br /> and coordination with same regarding their continued operations, <br /> Specifically, as to temporary signs as may be needed by the <br /> Gypsy Cellar; <br /> * Soft drink sales in cans or paper cups, no bottles. <br /> Additional or further matters not herein described or contemplated in connection <br /> with said Carnival shall not be effectuated without the prior written consent of <br /> the Chief of Police. <br /> 13. Acceptance. This permit shall not be effective until fully executed by all <br /> parties hereto and accepted by permittee, and returned to the City. <br /> 11732 <br /> 3 <br />
