Restroom Facilities: Adequate temporary restroom facilities (minimum of • 8) shall be provided by permittee and serviced during the event at no expense to the City. 12. Miscellaneous and Additional Matters. It is further agreed that the following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the responsibility of the Permittee, coordinated with and approved by the Chief of Police regarding: * A temporary fence (6' along the railroad side) shall be placed • around the Carnival area with entrances at established cross- walks to direct pedestrian traffic and contain litter; * Periodic trash cleanup during the event and continued availability of trash containers and bins through the area; * An agreement by Kiwanis to cover the first $2,000 of any damage or loss before submitting to the insurance company; * Provide private security to the Carnival (unarmed, insured and licensed); * On site presence of at least 2 Kiwanis members during operating hours available as a City contact; * Establishment of a First Aid Station and event headquarters; * Notification of Downtown Merchants and Gypsy Cellar Restaurant and coordination with same regarding their continued operations, Specifically, as to temporary signs as may be needed by the Gypsy Cellar; * Soft drink sales in cans or paper cups, no bottles. Additional or further matters not herein described or contemplated in connection with said Carnival shall not be effectuated without the prior written consent of the Chief of Police. 13. Acceptance. This permit shall not be effective until fully executed by all parties hereto and accepted by permittee, and returned to the City. 11732 3
