<br /> July 4, 1992 until after 1:00 PM or the end of the July 4 th Parade,
<br /> whichever is later.
<br /> 6. Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property
<br /> damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards,
<br /> commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or additional
<br /> insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death
<br /> to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the
<br /> activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have
<br /> arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of permittee in
<br /> connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and
<br /> $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for
<br /> damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use
<br /> thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Additionally, Butler Amusement Inc.,
<br /> shall name the City an additional insured on their $3,000,000 liability
<br /> policy. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form satisfactory to
<br /> the City shall be furnished by permittee to the City at least ten (10) days
<br /> prior to commencement of the event.
<br /> 7. Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for the
<br /> costs for any damages to City owned property , caused by or arising out
<br /> of, the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or
<br /> omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or
<br /> other markings placed in or upon public property, including the public
<br /> right of way in connection with the activity with shall be removed
<br /> immediately following said event.
<br /> 8. Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and
<br /> applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting
<br /> of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be
<br /> in addition to all other permits, which are or may be required for
<br /> conducting said Carnival, or any activity associated therewith.
<br /> Specifically, Permittee shall obtain necessary state permits and county
<br /> health permits.
<br /> 9. Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify
<br /> and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br /> commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or
<br /> claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br /> whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to
<br /> perform of permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out
<br /> of said carnival herein permitted.
<br /> 10. City Services: The City agrees to provide the following requested
<br /> services:
