FXS: cb ("1/24/92 (022/31) <br /> DES : cb c/13/92R <br /> O R I G I N A L 4/20/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11728 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO PROVIDING <br /> FUNDING FOR RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (R.S .V.P. ) <br /> AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 11687 <br /> WHEREAS , this Council approved and authorized execution of <br /> an agreement with the Volunteer Center of San Mateo County <br /> Retired Senior Volunteer Program (Resolution No. 11687) ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the sponsorship for the Retired Senior Volunteer <br /> Program has changed; and <br /> WHEREAS , the current sponsor of the Retired Senior Volunteer <br /> Program is the County of San Mateo; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R. S.V.P. ) has <br /> been established for the principal purpose of providing volunteer <br /> placement services for senior citizens in the City of Redwood <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS , said County, on behalf of its Retired Senior <br /> Volunteer Program, (R.V.S .P. ) has requested financial assistance <br /> for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br /> commencing July 1 , 1991 , and ending June 30 , 1992 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> and desires to pay to said County for its Retired Senior <br /> Volunteer Program (R. S.V.P) the sum of THREE-THOUSAND <br /> FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3 ,500 .00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS , there has been presented to this Council for <br /> approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> County of San Mateo for such purpose; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br />
