n_s 1: 9: 14. 55 ''-115 i80 i::5 R,C. e_ITI HALL UU1 <br /> Police determine that the provision of Police Officers is required for the control <br /> of traffic in connection with said "Ujena Body Pro Challenge ", Permittee <br /> agrees to reimburse City for costs associated therewith. <br /> 7. insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br /> damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards, <br /> commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or additional <br /> insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death to any <br /> person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the activities <br /> herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have arisen <br /> therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of Permittee in connection <br /> therewith, in the amounts of$500,000 for each person and $1,000,000 for each <br /> occurrence, and property damage insurance for damage or injury to, or <br /> destruction of property, including the loss of use thereof, in the amount of <br /> $500,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form satisfactory to the City <br /> shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to <br /> commencement of the event. <br /> 8. Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br /> costs for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated <br /> route, caused by or arising out of, the conducting of the "Ujena Body Pro <br /> Challenge " permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to act, of persons <br /> participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public <br /> property, including the public right of way in connection the "Ujena Body Pro <br /> Challenge " with shall be removed immediately following said event <br /> 9. Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br /> applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of said <br /> event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition to <br /> all other permits which are or may be required for conducting the "Ujena Body <br /> Pro Challenge "or any associated activity. <br /> 10. Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br /> and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br /> commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims <br /> to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting <br /> from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee <br /> hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said race, or any activities <br /> herein permitted. <br /> 11. City Services: The City agrees ti) provide cones for traffic control. It will <br /> be the responsibility of the Permittee to place the cones and collect them after <br /> the event. <br /> 12. Additional Matters. Additional or further matters not herein described or <br /> contemplated in connection with the "Ujena Body Pro Challenge " shall not <br /> be effectuated without the prior written consent of the Chief of Police. <br /> 11705 <br />
