<br />Each applicant for the permit required <br /> <br />"Section 9.114. <br /> <br />under Section 9.113 hereof shall pay to the Building Depart- <br /> <br />ment of the City of Redwood City for each permit issued, at <br /> <br />the time of issuance, a fee in accordance with the following <br /> <br />schedule and at the rate provided for each classification <br /> <br />shown therein: <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES <br /> <br />"RESIDENTIAL (R-l and R-3, Residential and M, miscellaneous <br />occupancies as defined by the 1976 Uniform Building Code) including <br />additions thereto: <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />Permits for individual residential buildings (R-l <br />or R-3 occupancies) without electrical heating: <br /> <br />$7.50 or $.0175 per square foot of floor area <br />whichever is greater plus $.002 per square foot <br />of floor area for private garages or carports <br />constructed in conjunction with each building <br />when such garages or carports exceed 3000 square <br />feet of floor area. <br /> <br />ii <br /> <br />Permits for individual residential buildings (R-l <br />or R-3 occupancies) with electrical heating: <br /> <br />$7.50 or $.02 per square foot of floor area which- <br />ever is greater plus $.002 per square foot of <br />floor area for private garages or carports con- <br />structed in conjunction with each building when <br />such garages or carports exceed 3000 square feet <br />of floor area. <br /> <br />iii <br /> <br />Permits for other individual miscellaneous (M <br />occupancies) buildings or structures including <br />private swimming pools and repair or remodeling <br />work - $7.50. <br /> <br />For the purpose of computing residential areas the term "floor area" <br />as used herein is the area included within the surrounding exterior <br />walls of a building or portion thereof, exclusive of vent shafts and <br />courts. The floor area of a building, or portion thereof, not <br />provided with surrounding exterior walls shall be the usable area <br />under the horizontal projection of the roof or floor above. <br /> <br />"COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL (all other occupancies other than R-l, <br />R-3, or M, as defined by the 1976 Uniform Building Code). <br /> <br />"Minimum fee for issuance of permit ...... $ 7.50 <br /> <br />"Temporary power pole permit fee ......... $ 7.50 <br /> <br />"For public swimming pools permits ....... $10.00 <br /> <br />-4- <br />
