Section 202 of the Housing Code is "Section 9.61 hereby amended to read as follows: "'Section 202 All buildings or portions thereof which are determined to be substandard as defined in this Code are hereby declared to be public nuisances and shall be abated by repair, rehabili- tation, demolition, or removal in accordance with the procedure specified in Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City.' "Section 9.62 Section 203 of the Housing Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "'Section 203 The Building Inspector is hereby authorized and empowered to designate representatives of the San Mateo County Department of Health and Welfare to act as his representatives in investigat- ing violations of, and enforcing any provision of, the Code relating to inadequate maintenance, dilapi- dation, decay, damage, inadequate light, air or sanitation facilities, or any other matter determined by the Health Officer as likely to cause a building to be unsanitary, unfit for human habitation or in such a condition that is likely to cause sickness or disease. When so designated such representatives shall have the same powers and duties as the Building Inspector. "'All references in this Code to the 'Health Officer' shall be construed to be references to representatives of the above mentioned Department of Health and Welfare. ' "Section 9.63 Chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 of the Housing Code are hereby deleted and shall have no force or effect in the City. "Article X.
