Superintendent Beth reported on <br />two activities to be held on March 29; the Fair Oaks Community Activities <br />Fair from 10am-2pm at the Fair Oaks Community Center and Total K Day at <br />Red Morton Park, where 50-60 Kiwanis volunteers will be making <br />improvements at the park. <br /> <br />Commissioner Joseph suggested inviting the other Commissions to our <br />meeting to provide an update on their activities. Commissioner Swope <br />suggested having our commission go to the other Commissions first and then <br />asking them to come to our meeting. Commissioner Morton suggested a <br />listing of other city events such as neighborhood association meetings. <br />Chairperson Walsh and Commissioner will meet to discuss the matter in more <br />detail. <br /> <br />Add to the calendar: May meeting-Handbook update, 4th of July Float <br /> <br />ITEM 5 - STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE AND TIMELINE <br /> <br />This item will be deferred until the April meeting. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />-Commissioner Yapp suggested having nameplates for the Youth and Teen <br />Advisory Board Representatives. <br /> <br />ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH'S AGENDA <br />-Budget Update, Strategic Plan Update, Report from Sub-Committee on Cost <br />Recovery and Current Fees, Youth and Teen Advisory Boards Update <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:07pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 to be <br />held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood <br />City, California. <br />
