ITEM 4 - STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE AND TIMELINE Director Centeno reviewed the five overarching goals contained in the draft Strategic Plan. Superintendent Hover reviewed the proposed completion timeline and reports, and ties to budget process. Superintendent Beth facilitated a discussion with Commission on what was missing from the draft plan. What's Missing? 1.) Gather input from other boards and commissions (SAC, CCC, Fa Board) 2.) No prioritization and timeline 3.) Format 4.) Statement ITEM 5 - 4TH OF JULY PARADE FLOAT Commissioner Joseph spoke about the plans for the Commission's 4th of July float. Decorating will take place on July 2 at. 5: OOpm at the Municipal Services Center (MSC) and on July 3 at 5:00pm. The float will be located i~ Division 2 and Commissioners riding on the float need to report to Arguello and Brewster by 9:50am. ITEM 6 - STAFF UPDATES -Spinas' Park . Superintendent Hover reported that bids will be opened on July 2 and awarded July 14 by the City Council. -Skate Park Superintendent Beth reported that the Police Department is patrolling the park every day and have reported no negative activity. Staff is looking at a skateboard competition in August. -Fair Oaks School Field Superintendent Hover reported the County has approved $300,000 for this project and the School District has approved $275,000. The shortfall of $625,000 has been included in the CIP project budget for next fiscal year. -Stafford Park BBQs Superintendent Hover reported that the three new BBQs have been installed at Stafford Park.
