<br />, <br /> <br />.'. <br />I <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />Minutes of July 23, 2003 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />--Commissioner Joseph stated she received calls from several Redwood <br />Shores residents about the lagoons in the Shores and these residents <br />requested that she ask staff to research what other cities are doing with their <br />lagoons and how they manage their use. Director Centeno asked <br />Commissioner Joseph to contact those residents and ask them to come to <br />our August Commission meeting where this matter will be placed on the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />-Commissioner Joseph announced the San Mateo County Historical <br />Association will be featuring "Victorian Days" in downtown Redwood City on <br />Sunday, August 24 and invited the Commissioners to attend the event <br />featuring booths, food and music. . <br /> <br />ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH'S AGENDA <br />-Strategic Plan Update, Redwood Shores Lagoons, Skate Park <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:14pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 27,2003 to <br />be held at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, <br />Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />
