Kayak Club to work together to file a permit requesting an area for a public access and storage facility, and that the Commission supports public recreational activities. ' Motion passed unanimously. Director Centeno stated the topic of lagoon guidelines will be placed on the Commission's November agenda. Lagoon guidelines have been provided by the Redwood Shores Community Association and Director Centeno is trying to see how they fit into the City's current ordinances. The meeting was recessed at 8:45pm and called back to order at 9:04pm. ITEM 3 - STRATEGIC PLAN PRESENTATION FOR CITY COUNCIL Director Centeno, Superintendents Hover and Beth, Chairperson Yapp and Commissioner Swope did a run-through of the strategic plan presentation which will be presented to City Council on September 27. ITEM 4 - UPDATES -Fair Oaks Field Grand Opening Superintendent Hover announced the grand opening will be held on Wednesday, November 10 at 4:00pm. -Court House Plaza Project ' Superintendent Hover stated Susan Moeller would like to come to the Commission's October meeting to discuss the Court House Plaza Project. He will confirm her attendance. -Community Wellness Festival Superintendent Beth reported that although the weather was cloudy, more than 2,000 people attended the festival at the Veterans Memorial Senior, Center. -Report from Sub-Committee on Interim Rules at Stafford Park Vice Chairperson Morton stated that he and Commissioners Joseph and White met to discuss the interim rules and would like input from the Stafford Park neighborhood on the ordinance revision. The sub-committee is looking to bring a rough draft back to the Commission in November.
