<br />no change in the incumbent of the position so reallocated, and the <br /> <br />maximum salary provided for the position as reallocated is less than <br /> <br />the salary received by the incumbent prior to reallocation, then <br /> <br />said incumbent shall continue to be compensated at the rate paid <br /> <br />said incumbent prior to such reallocation. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. <br /> <br />Any and all ordinances, or parts thereof, including <br /> <br />but not limited to the above mentioned Ordinance No. 1637, in <br /> <br />conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent <br /> <br />of such conflict only. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after its <br /> <br />adoption; provided, however, the provisions hereof shall be operative <br /> <br />retroactively to and including April 1, 1977. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1706 <br /> <br />-3- <br />
