<br />(b) <br /> <br />Effective August 1, 1976: <br /> <br />Steps <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Police Sergeant <br />Communications Dispatcher <br />Assigned to the <br />Police Department <br />Police Clerk Matron <br /> <br />1320-1388-1457-1528-1606 <br />979-1026-1079-1131-1189 <br /> <br />870- 915- 960-1008-1057 <br /> <br />SECTION 4. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Each police officer, police sergeant, <br /> <br />communications dispatcher assigned to the Police Department, and <br /> <br />police clerk matron regularly assigned to a night shift as herein <br /> <br />defined, shall receive additional compensation in an amount equal <br /> <br />to 2-1/2% of his basic monthly salary for each month during the <br /> <br />period he is so assigned; provided, however, that such additional <br /> <br />compensation shall not be included in computations for overtime or <br /> <br />other pay differentials. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Each communications dispatcher assigned to the Police <br /> <br />Department who is regularly assigned to a relief schedule requiring <br /> <br />night shift duty, as herein defined, shall receive additional compen- <br /> <br />sation in an amount equal to 1% of his basic monthly salary for each <br /> <br />month during the period he is so assigned; provided, however, that <br /> <br />such additional compensation shall not be included in computations <br /> <br />for overtime or other pay differentials. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />For the purposes of this section a night shift shall be <br /> <br />considered to be any duty shift commencing between the hours of <br /> <br />3:00 p.m. and 2 a.m. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. <br /> <br />Each employee of the Police Department who is <br /> <br />required to operate a motorcycle shall receive additional compensa- <br /> <br />tion in an amount equal to 5% of his basic monthly salary for each <br /> <br />month during which motorcycle duty is performed by such employee. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. <br /> <br />Each employee of the Police Department of the rank <br /> <br />of police sergeant or below who is assigned to the Investigation <br /> <br />-2- <br />
