Agency Member Ira stated he would be abstaining on items both items <br /> <br /> i) Task Order No. 2 and 3 - Mundie & Associates - Downtown Retail Cinema; <br /> Economic Development Coordinator Webb explained that Task Order No. 2 is to <br /> ratify an amendment for $51,755.00 funded by the developer for additional analysis <br /> to development the fourth alternative during the Draft EIR, going into the Final <br /> EIR. The second item, Task Order No. 3 for $47,560.00 for the final wrap up of all <br /> the work done on the EIR after certification by the Planning Commission that <br /> includes the appeal and three additional public forums requiring attendance by the <br /> Environmental consultants. <br /> <br /> M/S Claire/Pierce to ratify Task Order No. 2 to the agreement for consulting services with <br /> Mundie & Associates to provide an increase in the scope of work and budget for the <br /> Downtown Retail-Cinema Environmental Impact Report in an amount not to exceed <br /> $51,755; and <br /> <br /> Approve Task Order No. 3 to the agreement for consulting services with Mundie & <br /> Associates to provide an increase in the scope of work and budget for the Downtown <br /> Retail-Cinema Environmental Impact Report in an amount not to exceed $47,560. <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a majority roll call vote, with Agency Member Ira abstaining and <br /> Agency Member Jordan absent. MINUTE ORDER RD 01-04 <br /> <br /> ii) Agreement for Professional Geotechnical Investigation and Phase I and Phase II <br /> Environmental Assessment Services for the Proposed Downtown Retail-Cinema <br /> Project; <br /> <br /> Economic Development Coordinator Webb explained the Disposition and Development <br /> Agreement was approved on January 29, 2001 and the Schedule of Performance calls for a <br /> pre-acquisition budget. This requires site investigations for geotechnical and environmental <br /> assessment, which Harza Engineering will provide in the amount of $42,500.00. The <br /> Agency will only be responsible for the portion that covers the parcel to be retained by the <br /> City on Block 2 where the parking structure will be constructed ($5,850.00).
