Funding Agreement with Casa de Redwood; <br /> <br /> Executive Director Church explained that this item corresponds with a recommendation <br /> from the Block Grant program on the Council agenda. This item establishes an <br /> appropriation in the Redevelopment Agency budget that matches the funding <br /> recommendation in the Block Grant recommendation. Casa de Redwood is seeking a total <br /> of approximately $590,000.00. <br /> <br /> M/S Howard/Claire establishing by motion an appropriation of $243,658 in the 2000-2001 <br /> Redevelopment Agency budget for various Improvements to Casa de Redwood; <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present with Agency Member <br /> Jordan absent. MINUTE ORDER RD 01-05 <br /> <br /> C. Franklin Street Area - Next Steps; <br /> <br /> Executive Director Church made the presentation and explained various terminology, gave <br /> the history of the project and the progress to date. He stated the decision for the Agency is <br /> to determine what to do with the remainder of Franklin Street. The staff recommendations <br /> are to approve the Redevelopment Plan and direct staff to begin the owner participation <br /> process. He further stated the elements of the Redevelopment Plan as outlined in the staff <br /> report. <br /> <br /> Council questions included <br /> <br /> Public Comment: <br /> <br /> Ted Hannig stated he was speaking solely about owner participation.
