<br />" (d) <br /> <br />" (e) <br /> <br />"(f) <br /> <br />"(g) <br /> <br />"Director" shall mean the department head of the <br />Parks and Recreation Department or his authorized <br />representatives, appointed by the City Manager of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />"Persons" shall mean any person, group, firm, <br />partnership, association, corporation, company, <br />or organization of any kind. <br /> <br />"Vehicle" shall mean any wheeled conveyance, whether <br />motor-powered, animal drawn, or human powered, <br />excepting vehicles commonly known as baby carriages <br />and vehicles authorized to serve City parks. The <br />term shall include any trailer in tow of any size, <br />kind, or description. <br /> <br />"Amplified sound" shall mean music, speech or other <br />auditory impression, projected or transmitted by <br />electronic equipment intended to increase the range, <br />volume, distance, or intensity thereof. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1. 2 <br /> <br />Compliance with Rules Required. <br /> <br />Any <br /> <br />person entering, being or remaining in or upon any park or <br /> <br />park building of the City shall comply with the provisions <br /> <br />of this division and all other related provisions of this <br /> <br />Code. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1.3 <br /> <br />The Director <br /> <br />Emergency Closure. <br /> <br />shall close any park, park building or recreation area <br /> <br />immediately upon determining the existence of an emergency, <br /> <br />as defined in Section 10.2 of this Code, in or upon such <br /> <br />park, park building or recreation area. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1.4 <br /> <br />Scheduling. <br /> <br />The Director shall have <br /> <br />authority to schedule and regulate the time, place and <br /> <br />manner of recreational,maintenance and/or construction <br /> <br />activities in or upon any park, park building or recreation <br /> <br />area in order to prevent congestion and to secure the maximum <br /> <br />use thereof for the comfort and convenience of all. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1.5 <br /> <br />Permit for Temporary Exclusive Use <br /> <br />May be Issued. <br /> <br />Park and recreation facilities designated <br /> <br />by the Director shall be made available for the temporary <br /> <br />-2- <br />
