<br />exclusive use of persons subject to the issuance of a <br /> <br />permit by the Director and subject to any reasonable condi- <br /> <br />tions relating to the use thereof and/or the payment of <br /> <br />any reasonable fees therefor as may be hereafter adopted <br /> <br />The Commission shall establish standards for <br /> <br />by the City. <br /> <br />issuance of such permit. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1. 6 <br /> <br />Effect of Permit. <br /> <br />A permittee shall <br /> <br />comply with all park rules and regulations, and all appli- <br /> <br />cable ordinances and laws. <br /> <br />A permittee shall be liable <br /> <br />to the City for any and all damage to parks, facilities, <br /> <br />and park buildings owned by the City which results from the <br /> <br />activity of the permittee. <br /> <br />No permit for temporary exclusive <br /> <br />use of any park or recreation facility shall be transferred <br /> <br />without the consent in writing of the Director. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1.7 <br /> <br />Insurance May Be Required. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Director may require a permittee to provide public liability <br /> <br />and property damage insurance and indemnification provisions <br /> <br />as may be appropriate to protect the park areas and facili- <br /> <br />ties and the public using such areas and facilities. <br /> <br />"Section 25.1. 8 <br /> <br />Permit Required for Vending Food, <br /> <br />Beverages, Novelties, etc., in Parks and Recreation Areas. <br /> <br />"(a) <br /> <br />" (b) <br /> <br />"(c) <br /> <br />" (d) <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to vend or sell <br />any food, beverages, novelties, souvenirs, or other <br />items in any park or recreation area unless such <br />person shall have first obtained a concessions permit <br />to do so. <br /> <br />A concessions permit shall be issued by the Department <br />upon the recommendation of the Director. <br /> <br />A concessions permit may be issued for a specific <br />date or activity and in no event shall it be valid <br />for more than one year. The Director may establish <br />such conditions on the sales operation as may be <br />appropriate to protect the public using the area <br />and to protect the owners of adjoining properties, <br />including time, place and method of operation, <br />insurance coverage and indemnification provisions. <br /> <br />A concessions permit fee shall be payable in an <br />amount established by resolution of the City Council, <br />provided that the permit shall be issued without fee <br />for sales by religious, fraternal, charitable, or <br />other organizations when the entire net proceeds of <br />the sale will be used for charitable purposes. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
