<br />further have the right to 1nstall and UGe on the rispr's <br /> <br />premises such devices as are reasonably necessary or <br /> <br />appropriate to conduct sampl ing, 1\1,..tering, or monitoring <br /> <br />operations or other of the aforesaid duties. <br /> <br />In the event <br /> <br />a user has established security measures requiring identifi- <br /> <br />cation and clearance prior to entry onto such user's pre- <br /> <br />rnises, the user shall furnish and provide such identification <br /> <br />or clearance to the Director' so as to permit ready access of <br /> <br />the Director to the premises for the purpc!ses described in <br /> <br />this section. <br /> <br />"Section 27.59. <br /> <br />Pretreatment. <br /> <br />Pretreatment of wastes <br /> <br />or wastewater shall be furnished by every user <br /> <br />on the use-r's <br /> <br />premises <br /> <br />when such \"aste or wastewater, prior to pretreatment, <br /> <br />does not comply with the minimum acceptable requirements and <br /> <br />criteria therefor for discharge into the sewerage faci]ities <br /> <br />as set forth in Article II of this chapter. <br /> <br />Such pretreatment, <br /> <br />facilities shall be provided and maintained at the user's <br /> <br />expense, and shall be of sufficient design and capacity to <br /> <br />pretreat waste or wastewater discharged from the premises into <br /> <br />the sewerage facilities to a level meeting 5ueh minimum <br /> <br />requir ements, and such other requir'ements established by the <br /> <br />Director and reasonably n(-~cessary or appropria te for the <br /> <br />sewerage facilities t.O treat adequa.tely such waste or waste- <br /> <br />water under normal operating and treatment conditions. <br /> <br />"prior tc, the installation of such pretreat,ment facilit:ies, <br /> <br />plans and fJpecifications therefor shall be submitted to t'.he <br /> <br />Director, together with such data and descriptive material <br /> <br />relating to the waste or wastewater prior to, and after such <br /> <br />proposed pretreatment as the Director may require, in order <br /> <br />-24- <br />
