<br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, a general <br /> <br />improvement district duly organized and existing under the <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement District Ordinance (being <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and <br /> <br />all territory annexed to said District. <br /> <br />"(i) <br /> <br />Sewer Service Area C. <br /> <br />All premises located outside <br /> <br />the City. <br /> <br />Connection Required. <br /> <br />Except as provided <br /> <br />"Section 27.81. <br /> <br />in Section 27.85, all plumbing which receives waste discharge <br /> <br />from any building, structure or place of business within the <br /> <br />corporate limits of the City shall be connected to the sewerage <br /> <br />facilities. <br /> <br />"All plumbing receiving waste discharge, which is connected <br /> <br />to a private disposal system at the time of the adoption of <br /> <br />this article or on the effective date of the annexation to <br /> <br />the City of the territory where such plumbing is located, <br /> <br />shall be connected to the sewerage facilities within nine <br /> <br />months after such adoption or effective date of annexation. <br /> <br />Connection Permit. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Permit Required. <br /> <br />"Section 27.82. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to make or cause to be <br /> <br />made a connection to the sewerage facilities or a sewer lateral <br /> <br />without first obtaining a written sewer connection permit <br /> <br />from the Director and paying the established fees for such <br /> <br />connection as established by resolution adopted pursuant to <br /> <br />the provisions of Article IX of this chapter. <br /> <br />No sewer <br /> <br />connection permit shall be issued in any case where it is <br /> <br />necessary to construct a sewer lateral unless the application <br /> <br />required by subdivision (b) of this section has been made and <br /> <br />approved. <br />"(b) <br /> <br />Sewer Laterals. <br /> <br />If no sewer lateral exists between <br /> <br />the sewerage facilities and the property line of the adjacent <br /> <br />-30- <br />
