The Public Works Services Department issued a separate bid for <br />the purchase and / or repair of Flygt brand pumps, which is the system standardize pump, <br />for the remaining 29 lift stations in the system, <br /> <br />Alternative <br />1. Direct staff to solicit individual bids on an as-needed basis. However, this could <br /> place the City in a vulnerable position if one of these pumps fails. Repair and <br /> reconditioning of pumps is critical and delay due to the time involved to solicit bids <br /> puts the City at risk. <br /> <br />2.
