<br />DES:djk ..1"9/13/90 (013/28) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />SEP l' 7 1990 <br />No.11389 <br /> <br />lrq)If"!:"L'l.! <br />J ~ \ Ii l..] il: .~ .~ J" ~~ 1- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES <br /> <br />(SOUTH BAYS IDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the South Bayside <br /> <br />System Authority (" SBSA"), a public entity established pursuant <br /> <br />to joint exercise of powers agreement, entered into an agreement <br /> <br />dated January 8, 1987 (the "Basic Agreement"), pursuant to which <br /> <br />the City has performed certain professional accounting and <br /> <br />financial services for the SBSA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Basic Agreement the <br /> <br />parties <br /> <br />renewed and extended the <br /> <br />term and revised the <br /> <br />compensation payable thereunder pursuant to amendments thereto <br /> <br />dated June 16, 1987 ("the First Amendment"), June 22, 1988 (the <br /> <br />"Second Amendment"), and June 21, 1989 (the "Third Amendment"); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties to the Basic Agreement desire to renew <br /> <br />and extend the term thereof and revise the compensation payable <br /> <br />thereunder for the period July 1, 1990 - June 30, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Fourth Amendment to the Basic Agreement providing <br /> <br />for the foregoing has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council and this Council desires to approve and authorize the <br /> <br />execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
