<br />DES:djk nB/08/90 (004/28) <br /> <br />0, III t"H <br />Jr'il1! <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />""'1.. -Tif. \"3' 7' ',', 4 <br />~ <br />JL <br /> <br />AUG :1 3 1990 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED CITY- <br />OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING ITS EXCHANGE <br />THEREOF FOR INTERESTS OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE <br /> <br />(SURPLUS BREATHING APPARATUS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Chief has determined that certain <br /> <br />breathing apparatus and related equipment used by the Fire <br /> <br />Department is no longer required for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance, in his capacity as City <br /> <br />Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />Assessor, has determined that the value of the said apparatus is <br /> <br />require certain expert professional class rOom instruction <br /> <br />WHEREAS, personnel of the Redwood City Fire Department <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />provided by the COllege of San Mateo, Department of Fire Science; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a proposal has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />breathing apparatus; <br /> <br />in value to, or greater than, the value of the aforesaid <br /> <br />the prOvision of the aforesaid class room instruction equivalent <br /> <br />Whereby the aforesaid breathing apparatus would be exchanged for <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />1. That certain breathing apparatus and related equipment <br /> <br />specified by the Fire Chief as no longer required for use by the <br />Fire Department is hereby found by this Council to be no longer <br />
