This Council does hereby find and declare, based upon <br />the determination of the City Assessor, that the value of <br />professional fire science class room instruction described in <br />that certain letter dated July 20, 1990 to the Fire Chief from <br />the Fire Science/HazMat Coordinator, COllege of San Mateo, a copy <br />of which letter is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the fUll particulars <br />thereof, is equivalent to, or greater than, the value of the <br />breathing apparatus referenced in paragraph 1 hereof. <br />3. That certain proposed exchange of property interests <br />set forth in the a foresaid letter da ted July 20, 1990, Whereby <br />the abovementioned breathing apparatus and related equipment <br />would be exchanged for the aforesaid class room instruction to be <br />provided to Redwood City Fire Department personnel is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute all such documents (in form approved by the City <br />Attorney) as may be required or appropriate to effectuate said <br />exchange. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11374 <br />
