L <br />V ~ \ ~ \J ~ "~ 1"'1 <br /> <br />AUG 1 :3 "t~~U <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 1 1 37 Q <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS, APPROVING BID DOCUMENTS FOR THE SALE <br />THEREOF, AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR SEALED BIDS <br />FOR SALE THEREOF, WITH RESERVED RIGHT FOR SALE AT <br />PUBLIC AUCTION <br /> <br />(ARTIFICIAL TURFGRASS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal <br /> <br />property <br /> <br />listed <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />"Exhibit <br /> <br />A" <br />, <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />hereto <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes, and should be declared surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined the current reasonable market value thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />the item listed on "Exhibit A" is surplus, that it is no longer <br /> <br />necessary or required for municipal or public purposes, and that <br /> <br />the City Assessor has appraised said item in accordance with the <br /> <br />provisions of Redwood City Charter Section 3~. <br />
