<br />tI. ~ /1- :G <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY- <br />OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING <br />SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property listed <br /> <br />on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not needed <br /> <br />for present or prospectiYe municipal or public purposes, and should be declared <br /> <br />surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and determined that <br /> <br />the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the surplus items to be sold <br /> <br />as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said property <br /> <br />surplus and authorize its sale or disposition in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that those items listed <br /> <br />on Exhibit A are surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of the items to be sold <br />as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the City-owned property <br /> <br />described in Exhibit A, save and except for Item #1 - a 1998 Ford Expedition, property <br /> <br />Atty/Reso.1568 <br />100405 <br />
