RESOLUTION RD-06 -06 AMENDING REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005 -2006 <br />3. Bain /Foust to approve the Contract Documents entitled "Cinema Streetscape <br />Improvement Plans for Improving the Downtown Streetscape," which includes the <br />design for the "Hanover" pavers on the Theatre Way portion of Middlefield Road. <br />(A copy of the Plans and Specifications are available for review in the Community <br />Development Services Department/Engineering and Construction offices.) Letter from the Mayor in Response to the San Mateo County Grand Jury <br />June 27, 2005 Final Report, "Treatment of .Property Owners in Redwood <br />City Redevelopment Project" (302) <br />Mayor Ira stated that because this issue has of high interest in Redwood City, he <br />felt it important to bring the letter to Council for approval. He opened the topic to <br />questions or comments. There was no comment. <br />Recommendation: <br />Hartnett/Aguirre to authorize the Mayor to release the City's letter of response to <br />the San Mateo County Grand Jury June 27, 2005 Final Report, "Treatment of <br />Property Owners in Redwood City Redevelopment Projecr.MINUTE ORDER 05 -198 <br />C. Council Member.Ba.in — Utility Undergrounding (804) <br />Council Member Bain stated that this topic is associated with his interest in <br />improving some of the City corridors and is similar to the activities on El Camino <br />Real and Roosevelt. He further explained his knowledge of the County's plans to <br />underground utilities on Middlefield Road, from Atherton to the Redwood City <br />border. He subsequently began dialogue with City staff to explore ways that the <br />City might piggyback on what the County does whereby working with the County <br />or separately to underground utilities from the Atherton border to City Hall.
