Do not adopt the ordinance. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The ordinance is expected to increase collection of TOT. At the January 8, 2018 <br />meeting, City Council also adopted a resolution dedicating this TOT to the production of <br />affordable housing projects, programs and administration. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The proposed amendments are not considered a project under CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15378 because the activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable <br />indirect physical change in the environment. Alternatively, the amendments are exempt <br />from CEQA as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility for causing a <br />significant effect on the environment (Section 15061(b)(3)).
