cQ <br />CD <br />HOUSING M <br />Foster a range of housing options affordable to all income levels through policies, programs, <br />partnerships, and projects that support the creation and preservation of affordable housing for <br />Redwood City's residents. <br />GOALS <br />Draft the 2017-2018 Annual Action Plan <br />UPDATE <br />City staff completed this initiative in April 2017, approved by the City <br />Council and submitted to HUD. City staff is currently implementing <br />programs and activities funded by the approximately $1.2 million of the <br />City's CDBG and HOME grants. <br />HOUSING PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES <br />$15,000 of CDBG funds awarded to provide fair housing assistance and <br />tenant -landlord services to Redwood City residents. <br />$15,000 of CDBG funds awarded to provide accessibility improvements <br />to units occupied by homeowners and renters who are physically <br />challenged, elderly and fragile, or non -elderly and have other <br />disabilities. <br />$100,000 of CDBG Program Income used to provide housing <br />rehabilitation loans for low-income single-family owner occupied <br />property. <br />$75,000 of CDBG Program Income to provide low interest housing <br />rehabilitation loans for rental property occupied by low-income <br />tenants. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND GOALS 10 1 P a g e <br />
