<br />Agreement for Professional Services with CSG Consultants, Inc., Agreement for
<br />Professional Services with Interwest Consulting Group, Agreement for Professional
<br />Services with SAFEbuilt, LLC, Agreement for Professional Services with Shums Coda &
<br />Associates, Inc., Agreement for Professional Services with TRB + Associates, Inc., and
<br />Agreement for Professional Services with West Coast Code Consultants, Inc.
<br />RECOMMENDATION
<br />By motion, approve, and authorize City Manager to execute:
<br />1. Agreement for Professional Services with CSG Consultants, Inc. in the amount of
<br />$600,000 for building inspection and plan review services; and
<br />2. Agreement for Professional Services with Interwest Consulting Group in the
<br />amount of $600,000 for building inspection and plan review services; and
<br />3. Agreement for Professional Services with SAFEbuilt, LLC in the amount of
<br />$600,000 for building inspection and plan review services; and
<br />4. Agreement for Professional Services with Shums Coda & Associates, Inc. in the
<br />amount of $600,000 for building inspection and plan review services; and
<br />5. Agreement for Professional Services with TRB + Associates, Inc. in the amount
<br />of $600,000 for building inspection and plan review services; and
<br />6. Agreement for Professional Services with West Coast Code Consultants, Inc. in
<br />the amount of $1,000,000 for building inspection and plan review services
<br />BACKGROUND
<br />In July 2015, the City entered into agreements with three firms to provide building
<br />inspection and plan review services. Those firms are CSG Consultants, Inc. (CSG),
<br />Shums Coda & Associates, Inc. (Shums Coda), and West Coast Code Consultants,
<br />Inc. (WC3). Between July 2015 and February 2017, the City executed the following
<br />agreements and amendments:
