E. Authorization to increase the Construction Contract Change Order value from 15% <br />to 20% for the Route 101 /Ralston Avenue /Marine Parkway Interchange <br />Reconfiguration Project <br />Council Member Foust commended the City Manager, Community Development <br />Director Engineering Manager Chang and Senior Civil Engineer Vorametsanti . <br />She stated that the contract is on time that considering the construction costs, it is <br />a reasonable amount in terms of change order and is invaluable to the Redwood <br />Shores neighborhood. She further stated that the project is well within the funding <br />sources of the Shores Transportation Improvement District, the State <br />Transportation Improvement Program and fees collected from the City of Belmont <br />with no impact to the City's General Fund. She stated that this is an example of <br />effectiveness in a major construction project. <br />Recommendation: <br />Extend the amount authorized to the City Manager to increase construction <br />contract value with O.C. Jones and Sons, from $14,291,030.00 (15% higher than <br />original contract value) to $14,912,380.00, which will be 20% higher than original <br />contract value. (304) MINUTE ORDER 05 -209 <br />F. Parcel Map No. 2005 -04 for 1021 and 1025 Lakeview Way <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Approve Parcel Map No. 2005 -04 and accept the dedication of a Public <br />Service easement. <br />2. Approve and authorize execution of a Construction of Improvements <br />Agreement with Ronald R. Grove and Robert F. Dobel. <br />(304) MINUTE ORDER 05 -210 <br />G. Professional services agreement for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition <br />(SCADA) System design for recycled water distribution, storage, and pumping <br />facilities. <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve the Professional Services agreement with The EDCCO Group <br />— Engineering and Control Solutions of San Carlos, CA for system design, <br />inspection, programming, construction tasks and staff training, for the not -to- <br />exceed amount of $90,880.00.
