<br /> <br />City of Redwood City Page 11 <br />Sewer System Management Plan, March 2018 Introduction <br />the South Bayside System Authority. <br />Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) <br />Refers to written procedures that pertain to specific activities <br />employed in the operation and maintenance of the Sanitary Sewer <br />System. <br />State Water Resources Control <br />Board <br />(SWRCB) <br />Refers to the California Environmental Protection Agency, State <br />Water Resources Control Board. Note: The State Board is a separate <br />entity from the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board, <br />although the two agencies are closely connected. <br />Supervisory Control and Data <br />Acquisition <br />(SCADA) <br />Refers to the system that is employed by the City to monitor the <br />performance of its lift stations and to notify the operating staff when <br />there is an alarm condition that requires attention. <br />System Evaluation and Capacity <br />Assurance Plan <br />(SECAP) <br />Untreated or Partially Treated <br />Wastewater <br />Any volume of waste discharged from the sanitary sewer system <br />upstream of a wastewater treatment plant headworks. <br />Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) <br />Waste Discharge Identification <br />Number <br />(WDID) <br />A unique Redwood City identification number for the certification and <br />reporting of collection system related reports and overflows in the <br />CIWQS System. Redwood City’s WDID is 2SSO10168 <br />Water Body Any stream, creek, river, pond, impoundment, lagoon, wetland, or <br />bay. <br />Waters of the State Any surface water, including saline waters, within the boundaries of <br />California.
