This will help reduce and prevent SSOs, as well as <br />mitigate any SSOs that do occur. <br /> <br />I -1 SSMP Goals <br />The goals of the City of Redwood City for managing the sanitary sewer collection system are: <br />• To properly manage, operate, and maintain all parts of the wastewater collection <br />system; <br />• To perform all operations and maintenance activities in a safe manner; <br />• To provide adequate capacity to convey peak flows; <br />• To minimize the frequency of SSOs; <br />• To mitigate the impact of SSOs; <br />• To prepare for emergencies; and, <br />• To be part of a community and be a responsive public agency. <br /> <br />6.2.A. - Page 20
