<br />13 <br /> <br />Publication of RFP April, 2017 <br />The RFP will be published and Developer’s will be invited to submit Proposals to the City. The RFP may be viewed, <br />printed or downloaded from the City’s website. <br />Proposal Submittal Deadline May 31, 2018 <br />In order to receive consideration, Proposals must be received by the City no later than 5:00 p.m., Pacific Standard <br />Time on January 31, 2018. <br />Proposal Presentations June, 2018 <br />Each development team shall present their Proposals to the City as requested. <br />Selection of Preferred Developer September/October, 2018 <br />The City selection committee will recommend to the City Council a preferred Developer to begin negotiations for <br />the appropriate development agreement. The Council may consider, among other factors, the following <br />information when making their decision: The qualifications of the proposers; Proposals; the conceptual designs <br />submitted in the Proposals; the project objectives as described in this RFP; and the potential benefits for the City. <br />The City reserves the right to choose whichever Proposer it prefers and is under no obligation to select either. <br />Development Agreement Negotiations October-December, 2018 <br />The City will enter into negotiations with the recommended Proposer a Development Agreement (or Disposition <br />and Development Agreement). If the City and the recommended Proposer cannot agree to terms within a <br />reasonable time, then the City may negotiate a development agreement with the remaining Proposer, or reconsider <br />the process entirely. <br />Execution of Development Agreement January/February, 2019 <br />Upon the completion and execution of the Development Agreement or Disposition and Development Agreement, <br />the selected Developer shall proceed to the permitting process. <br /> <br />CONTACT/INQUIRIES <br />All questions regarding the RFP must be addressed in writing, addressed to Rhonda Coffman, Housing & Grants <br />Manager, as shown below.
