The work to be performed and services to be provided by Contractor include the 303 <br />furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, and all other items 304 <br />necessary to perform the work and provide the services described, at the times and 305 <br />in the manner required by this Agreement. The enumeration of, and specification of 306 <br />requirements for, particular items of labor, supervision, equipment, materials, or 307 <br />supplies shall not relieve Contractor of the duty to furnish all others, as may be 308 <br />required, whether enumerated elsewhere in the Agreement or not. 309 <br />B. Contractor shall perform the work and provide the services pursuant to this 310 <br />Agreement in a thorough and professional manner so that the residents and 311 <br />businesses within the Agency are provided reliable, courteous, and high-quality 312 <br />service at all times. The enumeration of, and specification of requirements for, 313 <br />particular aspects of service quality shall not relieve Contractor of the duty of 314 <br />accomplishing all other aspects in the manner provided in this Article, whether such 315 <br />other aspects are enumerated elsewhere in the Agreement or not. 316 <br />C. Contractor acknowledges that the Agency is committed to diverting materials from 317 <br />Disposal through the implementation of source reduction, donation, reuse, Recycling, 318 <br />and composting programs and that the Agency may, at some time in the future, 319 <br />implement, in accordance with Section 15.12, new programs that may impact the 320 <br />overall quantity or composition of Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and/or 321 <br />Organic Materials to be Collected by Contractor. 322 <br />5.02 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION 323 <br />A. Single-Family Dwelling (SFD) 324 <br />1. General. Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from SFD once per week from 325 <br />Contractor-provided Carts, and Agency shall bill Customers for the service at 326 <br />Agency-approved Rates. Contractor shall provide extra Collection pick-ups of 327 <br />Containers within one (1) Business Day of Customer’s request, and Contractor 328 <br />shall bill Customer at Agency-approved Charges specified in Attachment Q. 329 <br />2. Collection Location. Contractor shall Collect Carts Curbside unless: (i) the 330 <br />Occupant is provided a Special Handling Service exemption; or, (ii) the Customer 331 <br />has requested Backyard Collection Service and has agreed to pay for Backyard 332 <br />Collection Service at the Agency-approved Charge. Agency shall bill Customers 333 <br />with Backyard Collection Service at Agency-approved Charges specified in 334 <br />Attachment Q. For Customers with Special Handling Service and Backyard 335 <br />Collection Service, Contractor shall Collect Carts from and return Carts to the 336 <br />alternative service location (such as the side yard or backyard) specified by the 337 <br />Customer. Contractor shall make reasonable accommodations with regard to 338 <br />provision and servicing of Containers (e.g., Container size and type, placement 339 <br />of Containers for Collection, etc.) at no additional cost to Customers who meet 340 <br />the Agency’s Special Handling Service criteria. 341 <br />6.2.B. - Page 24
