Agency may 437 <br />independently measure the slope and/or distance. Agency shall make the final 438 <br />determination of the service arrangements and whether any Attachment Q 439 <br />Charges apply. 440 <br />7. Container Collection Location. Contractor shall give special consideration when 441 <br />determining the Collection location for Multi-Family Residential complexes to 442 <br />ensure that the flow of traffic is not impeded and that it does not result in aesthetic 443 <br />degradation of an area. The designated Collection location, if disputed by 444 <br />Customer or Contractor, shall be determined by the Agency. Additionally, if, in 445 <br />the Agency’s opinion, the location of an existing Collection location is 446 <br />inappropriate, Agency may require the Customer or Contractor to relocate the 447 <br />Collection Containers. 448 <br />C. Commercial Premises 449 <br />1. General. Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from Commercial Premises as 450 <br />frequently as scheduled by the Customer, but not less than once per week, and 451 <br />Agency shall bill Customers for the service at Agency-approved Rates. 452 <br />Contractor shall provide extra Collection pick-ups of Containers within one (1) 453 <br />Business Day of Customer’s request and Contractor shall bill Customer at 454 <br />Agency-approved Charges specified in Attachment Q. Customers must 455 <br />subscribe to a minimum service level of three (3) times per week Collection in 456 <br />order to be eligible for Collection on Saturday and/or Sunday. 457 <br />2. Container Service Requirements. Container service requirements described for 458 <br />Multi-Family Premises in Sections 5.02.B.3 through 5.02.B.7 are applicable for 459 <br />Commercial Premises. 460 <br />3. Service Methods. Specifically, the Contractor shall offer the following Collection 461 <br />service methodologies to Commercial Customers: 462 <br />a. Individual Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each Commercial 463 <br />Premises to use Carts, Bins, Compactors, or Drop Boxes for Solid 464 <br />Waste Collection. 465 <br />b. Centralized Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each 466 <br />Commercial Premises to use Carts or Bins for Solid Waste Collection 467 <br />that are shared by the Occupants of two (2) or more adjacent 468 <br />Commercial Premises. In such case, Contractor shall provide one or 469 <br />more Carts or Bins as requested by the Customer(s) provided that no 470 <br />less than ninety-six (96) gallons of Container capacity is provided for 471 <br />every four (4) Commercial Premises. 472 <br />c. Drop Boxes and Compactors. Contractor shall allow a Customer to 473 <br />use a Drop Box or Compactor for Solid Waste Collection to meet the 474 <br />Customer’s Disposal needs. In such case, Contractor shall provide 475 <br />Customer with a choice of Container capacities ranging from three (3) 476 <br />to forty (40) cubic yards (or similar sizes). Contractor shall allow 477 <br />Customers to purchase or lease Compactors through an outside 478 <br />vendor. Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be required by 479 <br />Customer (or outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the 480 <br />6.2.B. - Page 27
